Monarch Legacy of Monsters Season 2 Storyline: What Would It Be Able to Be About?
The plot focuses on the aftermath of G-Day, the day Godzilla attacked San Francisco in 2014. Humans are still coming to terms with the shocking reality that monsters are real.
It also dabbles into multiple timelines, namely: 1950s: Discovery of Titans; 1970s: King Kong vs. Godzilla, wherein the Monarch organization did an expedition to King Kongâs Skull Island; 2014: The Actual G-Day; and finally, 2015: the most important timeline.
This show is supposed to cover the gap between the 2014 G-Day and the 2019 Godzilla King of Monsters. The makers have crafted it in such a way that the Godzilla universe feels complete.
The plot of the 2015 timeline is that two siblings (Cate Randa and Kentaro Randa) follow in their fatherâs footsteps to find that they have a connection to the Monarch, and, with the help of the organization, they get to know about the Monarch’s extensive research about Godzilla and Titans. They fall into a rabbit hole as they connect the dots from the 1950s to 2014.

What Happened at the End of Monarch Legacy of Monsters Season 1?
The latest episode of Season 1 of Monarch Legacy of Monsters was episode 4, named Parallels and Interiors. This episode neither contains a big revelation nor does it have a big event except for the groupâs (May, Lee, Cate, and Kentaro) narrow escape from the ice monster.
The episode starts with Dr. Barnes finding a sudden spike in the level of radiation in Alaska, and she informs the monarch about it. The monarch sends out the group to investigate the matter. This is where they get to encounter the ice monster, and they run for their lives.
However, May slips into a puddle and falls sick from frostbite. The group gets split to find shelter, where Kentaro puts up in an abandoned base while the others follow a blue light in the distance.

We are shown a flashback of Kentaroâs life in 2014, when he was hosting his art show, his short fling with May, and then hallucinates that his dad is praising him for his art show. Meanwhile, May gets better as she seeks warmth at Hiroshiâs campsite.
But the monster finds them, and instead of attacking them, the monster feeds on the fire, which gives Lee an idea that would help them escape the ice monster safely. Lee distracts the monster, and the group successfully manages to escape. There is a small sibling bonding moment where Cate thanks Kentaro. As they reach the headquarters, they meet Tim and Duvall.

What Fan Can We Expect from Monarch Legacy of Monsters Season 2?
Well, Season 2 of Monarch Legacy of Monsters is going to take a long time, and how can we discuss the Season 2 plot when we donât even know the entire Season 1? Well, then itâs only reasonable to talk about what is to come in Season 1 episodes 5 to 10.
In Season 5, Tim will evaluate what happened in Alaska and why Cate, May, and Kentaro had to leave (PS: Ice Monsters). Kentaro, as he is deeply connected to his dad, might yearn to go back to Alaska despite the scary situation to find his dad, while Cate and May stay back to find Hiroshi.
