Heavenly Idol Summary
Heavenly Idol as the name suggests has a supernatural setting to it where Pontifex Rembrary is in a battle against Dark Force with his troops with a target to prevent the Evil Ones from gaining back the power after a millennium.
The battle is about to be won by Rembrary when he is sent to the present world by an unfathomable force where he finds himself in the body of a K-pop star named Woo Yeon-Woo a member of the group Wild Animal.
On the other hand, Yeon-Woo gets swapped to Rembrary’s body. Both find it hard to live in an unfamiliar setting which is why Rembrary is on his quest to return to his world and save both worlds from Evil One.
What happened at the end of Heavenly Idol season 1?
Well, as already discussed, Heavenly Idol has finally completed its story and reached the ultimate climax. The show had 12 episodes in total to it and each episode was equally rewarding where by the end Redrin escaped into the human world and stole the powers owned by Evil One.
On the other hand, Rembrary is directly injured and devastated and is brought back to the human world by Dal which makes two Yeon-Woos in the same place. Rembrary confronts Redrin while a heartbroken Evil One searches for answers. In the end, Dal’s sacrifice saves both worlds, defeating Redrin once and for all.

What will happen next in Heavenly Idol Season 2?
While season 1 did a tremendous job of entertaining every single viewer of the show. The performance of Heavenly Idol shot up crazy. The show has much significant appeal to it. Despite the fact that the show has been a tremendous success so far, it is well expected to follow suit with all the other K-dramas that are released as a limited series and end their story within season 1 which Heavenly Idol did as well.
There is only a slim chance of the show renewing for a season 2. Hence, it is hard to expect any kind of storyline or season 2. The studio and authorities involved with the show haven’t given any statements for the same either. In any way, the future story seems impossible with how season 1 ended with the story’s completion.
Where can I watch Heavenly Idol?
Heavenly Idol is a property of TWING as the main streaming platform in the home country which is South Korea but this streaming platform is purely domestic and not available in the rest of the world for viewing the content on it.
Well, it is not to say that the show does not have streaming platform support in the rest of the world. Luckily, Viki Rakuten has taken up the duty of making this one thing happen since that is where you can watch Heavenly Idol in the rest of the world.
Moreover, if you belong to Asia then you can also watch it on Viu.
