Sold off to a wealthy Korean family with no rights but a life of facades and pretensions, Cha Soo-hyun lives like a bird in a golden cage. Her in-laws control her life, sans rights and aspirations of her own.

Soon after, she meets a man named Kim Jin-hyuk on a business trip to Cuba. Not only did they fall in love, but with this man, Soo-hyun started finding her lost spirit and will to live a happy life.
However, soon, Soo-hyun learns that Jin-hyuk is actually an employee in the Donghwa Hotel, the hotel she got in alimony from her ex-husband’s family.
As things get complicated and love gets involved, the lovers have only two options: sail through or sink in this game of life.

With Jin-hyuk’s mother trying to save and protect his son from what she thinks will harm her child – the relationship with Soo-Hyun, the woman fails to realize that her son is madly in love with the woman.
