What happened at the end of Season 1?
A lot has happened in the mini-series. Letâs start with Lance. After a long grieving period after losing his wife Mia to cancer, he gets to know that his son LJ is non-binary. At first, it is hard for him to accept, but we see that, as a good father, he comes to terms with his sonâs new identity and celebrates it with his jersey retirement.
Also, things look bright for Lance as he reunites with Jasmine, a concierge at the San Pierre Resort. They get engaged, which shows that they find love in each other. Also, we get to know that Quentin and Shelby have been having arguments since Quentin had a heart attack.
His health scare made him rethink his life decisions, and he promised Shelby to change his lifestyle. And to all of you who have watched Best Man: Holiday, you know that at the end of the movie, Quentin rang up his friends to tell them that he was going to marry Xiomara (she was really self-obsessed).
However, there was a change in plans in this mini-series! He and Xiomara ended it! (Thankfully!) Finally, this season ends the 20-year relationship between Quentin and Shelby. Now coming to the sad parts. Spoilers: Harper and Robyn get a nasty divorce, and Robyn has to fight to take her daughter to Ghana with her.
Harper had an inappropriate kiss with Jordan while he was married to Robyn. Robyn, too, was emotionally cheating on Harper with Jaha. Anyway, that was nasty, and Jordan put her foot down and stood up for herself as she focused more on her career and less on being an emotional safety cushion for Harvey.
But in the end, Harper makes it up to her by healing on his own and winning a Pulitzer, thus bagging Jordan.

According to him, he doesnât have any more stories left to tell regarding the character. He also added that âat least I donâtâ at the end of his reply, so can Dayna Lynne North come up with the next season by herself?
