Smiling Friends is an adult animated television series produced in Australia and the United States. The pilot episode premiered on Adult Swim on April 1, 2020, with another of Cusack’s works, YOLO: Crystal Fantasy, quickly becoming a smash.
Adult Swim and the show’s writers announced on May 19, 2021, that the series had been greenlit with Royal Crackers and would launch later that year. The first season consists of eight episodes, one of which is the pilot.

Adult Swim will release an animated pilot titled “Smiling Friends” in 2020. The show will follow two guys named “Charlie” and “Pim” who have the duty of making people happy. Everyone watched it, and everyone adored it; even I find it moderately entertaining.
Adult Swim officially greenlit Smiling Friends after months of demand from fans across Twitter and the Internet, and boy does that program look even better than it did previously. The script in this program is quite amusing, and there are numerous subtle Internet references; the voice acting, by the way, is quite good.
Not to mention the animation is fantastic; I appreciate how Smiling Friends showcased more classic plam animation over flash animation; it’s rather remarkable. I have to admit that Smiling Friends is undoubtedly one of the best Adult Swim cartoons currently available.
While I’m glad it exists, I still wish Adult Swim would restore last Space and Activision Pibby for an entire season. If you haven’t already, check out Smiling Friends on Adult Swim; it’s a truly excellent show. This show earns a 9.8/10 from me.
