Trolls World Tour is by far my favorite Trolls film, and TrollsTopia is an expansion of the Trolls franchise (and World Tour in particular). The Beat Goes On was enjoyable, but TrollsTopia surpasses it in some way. As usual, the animation is highly expressive and vibrant, and the animators make the most of ToonBoom to showcase their skills.
The music is catchy, especially the title song, but did you expect anything else from Trolls? I was upset that Barb from TWT wasn’t in the show, but Val Thundershock is a fine replacement. She is a lot like Barb if the duties of being a leader didn’t burden her.
