One Piece Episode 1004 Recap
Kaido previously emerged from the sky, and everyone was taken aback when they discovered Kaido was a giant dragon. Kinemon anticipates Kaido’s strength. Luffy was unaware of the identity of the flying creature until Law revealed to him it was Kaido. Kaido examines Luffy, perplexed as to who that brat is. Luffy reveals himself to be the guy who will ascend to the throne of the Pirates. Kaido becomes enraged when he discovers that the brat is actually Luffy, and he has been waiting to teach Luffy a lesson. Kaido demonstrated the Samurai Blast Breath that day, reducing them to ashes.
Luffy escaped and confronted Kaido with Gear Forth. He also employs the Gum-Gum King Kong Gun, which Kaido counters with his Kanabo. Kaido employs Thunder Bagua against Luffy, who both take the brunt of those colossal hits. However, Kaido launches Luffy into the air, causing him to lose his Gear-Fourth form. This was Luffy’s first loss at the hands of Kaido. Luffy became unconscious and was unable to fight again. They transferred him to Udon Prison’s Excavation Labour Camp and handcuffed him with Stone Prism chains. Luffy awakens, works diligently, and faces his adversary, Captain Kid.
Luffy becomes enraged when Kid continually tests him, and they labor harder than any other convicts. However, Luffy could not abide the guards abusing the inmates. His heart was broken when the guards attacked an elderly gentleman named Hyogo, and Luffy beat him to a pulp. Luffy is also confronted by Queen, while Big Mom is on the lookout for Red Bean Soap. The Akazaya Nine band together and devise a scheme to assassinate Kaido with the assistance of convicts. Momonosuke was later kidnapped, but Shinobu was able to rescue him. Luffy reunited with Yamato and set out to assassinate Kaido.
