What Will Happen in City on a Hill Previous Season?
The plot opens in a devasting 1990’s Boston, where experienced FBI agent Jackie Rohr works in a corrupt society. Still, rookie deputy district attorney Decourcy Ward is tasked with cleaning up the system.
After cooperating on an investigation into a vehicle heist, the two create an alliance. Decourcy quickly learns that he has made an enemy in the City when, following an exciting Sunday, Jackie encounters difficulties at his house.
Decourcy attempts to end the City’s famed “culture of silence,” while Jackie is looking for a missing informant who was supposed to provide him with critical information. Jackie is dangerously close to locating armored truck guards. Jackie and Decourcy are looking for a weapon connected to a heist.

Aldis Hodge, who portrays ADA Decourcy Ward, is a nasty person who feels he is a good guy because he believes his means justify his means. He believes in himself, whereas Rohr does not.
The series provides a fascinating and vulnerable look at 1990s Boston, dealing with crime, racism, and police and government corruption.
It maintains an equitable distribution of its resources. Jill Hennessy, who plays Bacon’s wife, stands out among the supporting cast due to her deft handling of the Boston accent.
