Jazz Katz is owned by Dr. Tamika Scott, a psychotherapist who has always wanted to operate a jazz club. The club was initially profitable, bringing in $30,000 each month. Tamika began to rely on her acquaintances for assistance rather than qualified personnel. This is had an impact on her business, as quality has suffered and consumers have departed. Jon introduces his expertise and leads them on a tour of the facility.

The bar is not correctly set up, the kitchen is unclean, and the food is not correctly handled. Jon decides to bring in only twenty-five customers and a thirty-minute time frame to serve them all without live music. Tamika will be in charge, with Karen and Ray assisting. Customers are allowed in, and it is a mess. The bartenders are slow, misplaced tickets, and Karen goes her way while disputing with her daughter.

Jon intends to settle Tamika and Karen’s feud the next day by meeting with all three family members. After 36 hours, the bar has been restored, and Jon meets the crew in the late afternoon to reveal the new bar. BackBeat Piano Establishment and Cocktails is the new name for the bar. They used the same black theme on the outside, and there was a clear call to action. Inside, it’s cozier and more like a lounge, with a piano as the focal point that can be viewed from anywhere in the bar. They set up the bar and prepare to reopen. Customers flood in after the relaunch, and they are inundated with orders.
