I was almost halfway through the first episode when I began watching Kidding. Then I saw a few reviews that stated that I should give it time because it starts slowly. As a result, I returned and resumed my observation.
I am eternally grateful that I did. This is a show with a lot of heart. It really began to take hold of me around the halfway point of the second episode, and I am now absolutely hooked. Jim Carrey and the supporting cast are outstanding in this production.
It teaches several lessons, including how to deal with mortality, how we relate to others, and most importantly, how flawed and fragile we all are and how we struggle to OVERCOME.
This is a unique performance, and Jim Carrey again demonstrates his extraordinary range as an actor. For this role, he should be nominated for an Emmy. This show is worth watching!!
